Turkish Airlines Change My Seat After Boarding Pass Issued
When traveling with THY, I pay an extra seat fee to choose my seat. However, after creating my boarding pass, our seat gets changed. My father is 75 years old and has a heart condition. He feels uncomfortable when seated towards the middle. I created a boarding pass for seat 3F in the morning, but by evening, it was changed to 21F with just a single message. This has happened to me three times this year. I called customer service but did not receive a clear answer. They said THY has the right to change seats due to operational reasons. If that's the case, why do they charge extra for seat selection when booking? They will change it as they please later anyway. I do not want to experience these issues. It's surprising to encounter such situations with a reputable company like THY. I am very curious about what kind of operational reason could cause our seat to be changed on three flights. Moreover, they don't provide detailed information and dismiss the issue as if it's a joke. I urgently expect a solution, a refund, and an apology. This needs to be resolved immediately!
