Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight and Didn’t Compensate the Expenses
On November 1st, I had a flight with Turkish Airlines (THY), which was subsequently canceled. After a 7-8 hour wait for the rescheduled TK2754 flight at 17:30, we were simply told to 'go home.' No food or drinks were provided, and due to the excessive crowd, we had to meet our needs independently. No ticket exchanges were offered. We managed everything on our own and now seek the rightful compensation and reimbursement for our expenses. Despite multiple feedback submissions, we have received neither acknowledgment nor response in the past 25 days. We also complained to the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority (SHGM) using reference number TK: 9705448, yet we are still awaiting a reply. This was an extremely disappointing and uncharacteristic experience for Turkish Airlines, falling far short of the service standards we expected.
