Turkish Airlines Business Class Ticket Issue for a Student
On 20.09.2023, I submitted my documents to the Romanian consulate to obtain a visa. I was told that my visa would be ready by 25.09.2023. However, it still hasn't arrived as of today, 01.10.2023. I am not employed and I am a university student. I requested the cancellation or postponement of my Antalya-Bucharest flight on 2.10.2023 because my Romanian visa has not yet arrived. I contacted THY customer service on 30.09.2023 by writing and calling 4440846, emphasizing the urgency of my situation. They said it is under review and that they would get back to me as soon as possible. Will you respond after it's too late? According to the agreement between the National Agency and THY, a 20% discount code is given to support students, which I used to purchase my ticket early. However, this discount code is only valid for 'Business' tickets that are non-refundable and non-postponable. We are students and do not have enough money; if we did, I wouldn't have bought the ticket early just to benefit from your so-called 20% discount. Ticket prices are increasing every day. I bought my plane ticket for ₺3,732.61, and because you are not helping, this ticket seems to be going to waste. I am complaining about being forced into a difficult procedure just to get a small amount of help as a student. I am also complaining about your inflexibility and lack of assistance towards students.
