Turkish Airlines Business Class Flight Issues
I had a business class ticket with Turkish Airlines for a flight on 10.06.2023 at 23:00 from Istanbul Airport to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport for two people. We arrived at the airport 45 minutes before the flight departure time. We went to the business class baggage drop-off point, and the lady there told us that the gates were closed and they couldn't take our luggage. She then said we could take our luggage with us and called the plane to get approval, after which she directed us to the gate. When we arrived at the boarding gate, a gentleman told us that the gate was closed and our tickets would be reissued by Turkish Airlines staff for the next flight in an hour. When we approached higher-level staff, they said such an arrangement was not possible. We conveyed what the other staff member had told us, but we were dismissed. This behavior was unbecoming of the company. I reported the issue to customer service, but I received no resolution and had to spend the entire night there and buy new tickets.
