I am facing an issue with Turkish Airlines regarding a flight schedule change. I had booked a flight from Istanbul (Sabiha Gokcen) to Izmir on November 13, 2023, at 22:55. The flight schedule was changed twice, first on September 18 and then on October 11. Since we are arriving from Spain at 18:40 on November 13, we needed a night flight, but both changes moved us to an inconvenient time (18:20). The latest change canceled the night flight, leaving the nearest available flight at 7:30 AM on November 14. We initially bought the ticket for ₺700, but now we would have to pay ₺1700 to book a flight at our desired time with another airline. Since our ticket is round-trip, we cannot cancel just the return leg, which means our money is wasted. Despite multiple calls and even visiting the airline's office, our issue remains unresolved. We requested accommodation at a hotel or lounge as a solution, but it was denied because the change was not over 12 hours. Due to Turkish Airlines, we are forced to wait at the airport from 18:40 until 7:30, and no solution-oriented approach has been taken. We are constantly asked to provide feedback, but no positive response is given. We still do not know how we will return. We are very dissatisfied.
