THY Sequential Ticket Issue with TK1865 and TK1872 Flights
On July 13, 2024, we contacted THY regarding our inability to board the TK1865 flight to Rome and requested a ticket cancellation. However, canceling and rebooking was more costly, so we traveled to Rome with Pegasus. On July 18, our baby fell ill, and we wanted to return early, but we were informed that due to the sequential ticket policy, we could not board the return flight TK1872 on July 21 since we missed the initial flight. We were not informed about this policy during our first call. Even if everything had gone smoothly, we wouldn't have been able to board the flight on July 21. We are complaining about the lack of information provided by THY. Currently, I have been waiting for information to change the flight since noon with my sick baby, but no one has responded. I cannot understand such insensitivity despite emphasizing the urgency of the situation. I will pursue my rights through all available platforms, including legal action if necessary.
