THY Lost and Broken Luggage Issues on Ankara-USA Flight

We booked round-trip tickets from Ankara to the USA with THY. It was the worst travel experience we've ever had. Despite calling four times and creating two notifications a week in advance for our 2-year-old child, we received no priority boarding, toys, or kids' menu as promised. The long journey turned into a nightmare. When we arrived, our luggage was unusable. We filed a report, but no response. To avoid the same issue on the return trip, we called and created notifications multiple times again, but the result was the same. Additionally, this time, two of our suitcases were lost. According to the information given, while our other suitcases arrived, these two did not make it onto the plane. Despite handing them over very early, one suitcase was broken. I spent $180 on a suitcase, which got lost, and the intact ones were shattered. We repeatedly mentioned that there were fragile items inside, but the suitcase itself ended up broken, and the other one lost. We were left in a terrible situation with our child. After approximately 20 hours of travel, we waited another two and a half hours at the airport for our luggage, only to be told on our third visit that 'your luggage was not put on the plane.' International flights with other companies are much cheaper, even half the price, yet we chose THY, trusting them. Will we choose them again? I don't think so. They promised a kids' club. Trusting them left us in a terrible situation. Our suitcase was broken upon arrival, making it impossible to carry. Thank you for ruining our vacation and charging us for it.

The company sent the products they didn't provide on the plane to my home, which, although it didn't change the fact that it was a difficult journey, was at least something they chose to do. They also compensated me for my broken suitcase, even though I couldn't get the exact same one.
