THY Confiscated My Belongings During Passport Control

On May 23rd, around 14:00, while passing through passport control to board a flight to Belarus, I was asked to open my suitcase. Inside, I had my personal belongings, including my suits. The police confiscated them, saying I couldn't take them through. Did they have the right to do this?
There were no sharp or dangerous items. Additionally, they checked my handbag, which contained food, and confiscated those as well. I now want these items back or compensation for the new suits I had to purchase. I request assistance in locating these individuals and retrieving my belongings.
I demand that appropriate actions be taken against them as a penalty. My name is Cetin S** D**, and my phone number is 0542412**. Please ensure I receive information promptly. It took 33 days for a response. I am currently in Istanbul. If this matter is not addressed, I will take it to the prosecutor's office. Regards.
