The Issue About Unauthorized Charge of The Pet Addition On Turkish Airlines And Anadolu Jet
Anadolu Jet Issue with Pet Addition and Unauthorized Charges!
On 12.12.2023, I purchased a flight from SAW to BJV via the Anadolu Jet app. Later, I called customer service to add my pet to the booking. When I searched for Anadolu Jet on Google, I called the number that appeared first in the sponsored link. Despite being charged ₺750 on my credit card, I noticed an additional ₺250 fee on my ticket when I checked the THY website for this service. When I called the number back, they informed me that they were an agency, not directly associated with Anadolu Jet, and that the fee was their service charge. Even though I mentioned that I wanted to cancel the transaction due to misleading Google ads, they told me it was not their concern and that I had already approved the transaction. When I requested an invoice, they said they couldn't send it outside of business hours. Furthermore, when I asked for their agency license number, they refused to provide it. At this point, I recorded the conversation after informing the other party. Immediately after, I contacted the real Anadolu Jet customer service, but they said they couldn't do anything about such situations. It's truly disappointing that they can't intervene in transactions done using their name. As a company under Turkish Airlines, this is unacceptable. I doubt that this agency exists and that I will receive an invoice tomorrow. I hope my card details haven't been stolen; I temporarily disabled online shopping for this reason. I hope Anadolu Jet or Turkish Airlines hears my voice and puts an end to this practice.
