Issue with Ticketing for THY Istanbul-Toronto Flight
Dear General Manager Mr. B** E**, I didn't want to bother you with this, but I am writing to you to highlight the inefficiency of your system, which has shown no progress in resolving an issue that is not my fault for about a week. In March, I purchased tickets for myself, my wife, and my 5-year-old son for the Istanbul-Toronto, Toronto-Istanbul flights. Later, I informed THY staff that my wife was pregnant and would give birth there. They told me that for the baby's ticket to be issued, the first leg of the flight needed to be completed, and the baby had to be born. After the baby was born, I obtained the baby's Turkish ID number from the Canadian consulate and called THY to add the ticket for my newborn. During a 1 hour and 6-minute call with Mr. E** on June 13 at 20:51 from my phone number 530293**, the baby's ticket was issued, but my wife's ticket (2352222695175) and my son's ticket (2352222695176) were canceled. They then asked me to fill out a feedback form. I, Cenk E**, filled out the form with feedback number 10973588. Mr. M** B** instructed me to create this file, and we did it together. The response to my feedback was absurd, stating that I did not have the authority to open such feedback and asking my wife, who is still in Canada, to create feedback number 10978563. However, I was on the same flight. Anyway, after S** E** (phone number 530266**) created feedback number 10978563, the response was even more disappointing. The response indicated that the conversations I personally had needed to be transcribed, and the issue was put into a vicious cycle. I wanted you to see the state of a large company like THY, which is not solution-oriented, does not understand what I am requesting, and cannot issue my tickets even though I have paid for them.
I request that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
