I Experienced Significant Disruptions On My Turkish Airlines Flight, Including Delayed Departure And Lost Luggage
I was very dissatisfied with my journey from Munich to Istanbul with THY on 25.08.2023. Our flight, which was scheduled to depart from Munich airport at 13:05, took off at 15:36. The information provided was that the plane was not ready for takeoff yet, and we received three messages on our phones indicating the new departure time. Upon arriving in Istanbul, we found out that our luggage did not arrive, which we learned through passengers informing each other, as there was no announcement made. After waiting for so long on chairs and the floor, we had to deal with the luggage issue in Istanbul. We filed a report, but we couldn't track our luggage online or get information over the phone. I had to go to the airport to get information. I would like to thank the staff for their interest and assistance while filing the report and when I went to pick up my luggage. After all these experiences, I have lost my trust in THY. At the very least, they could have done something to appease the passengers due to the situation.
