Difficulties Faced During Turkish Airlines Flight

On December 30th, our flight from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen to Diyarbakir Airport was delayed by one hour. After circling over Diyarbakir for about 40 minutes, we finally landed at Mardin Airport after a total of four hours. The pilot did not provide any explanation for the journey taking four hours instead of the expected one and a half hours, and the flight attendants also did not offer any information, which left us quite distressed. On January 1, 2024, it was very clear that planes would not be able to take off due to fog, but when I called everywhere for information about our 8 PM flight to Istanbul, I was told that no information was available yet and that we would be informed. However, I did not receive any email or notification message. At the airport, when it was announced that the Mardin flight was canceled and we had to travel to nearby cities on our own, the distressed passengers protested, and this statement was retracted. After sending us to Elazig Airport by shuttle, we had to wait at the airport for about seven hours. No accommodation was provided for us. No effort was made to address our distress, and we had to wait there for hours. I could have been a sick person, an elderly person, or had a baby; would you have treated us the same way then? You pride yourselves on being the best airline in the world, but you are leaving hundreds of your citizens stranded and distressed on the roads and in airports. I urge you to be more coordinated and to improve your staff and systems to handle any adverse situations that may occur in a large city like Diyarbakir. Otherwise, this will make you not the best airline, but just an airline people are forced to use. For your information.
