Broken Promises and Damaged Baggage on Turkish Airlines Flights




Turkish Airlines delivered my broken suitcase to me on my flight from DLM to IST and NKT on July 1. The flight went from DLM to IST and then to NKT. It took me an hour after landing to notice the damage while resting at the airport, and I immediately reported it to the appropriate personnel after noticing it. They informed me that the damage claim had been closed and directed me to file my complaint through the online system. My online application, however, was subject to an additional stipulation requiring the appropriate airport personnel to submit a report prior to departure. Despite the fact that I told them in person, they directed me to the website, leaving me frustrated and without compensation for my damaged luggage.
