I am a Turkcell mobile line user residing in Istanbul, Sultanbeyli, Ahmet Yesevi neighborhood, and for the last 3–4 months the reception quality in our area has been extremely poor. Almost all Turkcell users around me are experiencing the same problem. Despite being in the city center, we cannot talk properly on the phone and the mobile internet is extremely slow. The signal is either very weak or constantly dropping, and this problem continues at all hours of the day. We have reported this issue to Turkcell customer service before, but no effective action has been taken and we have not received a satisfactory response. While we are regularly contacted when our packages are about to be renewed, there is no real effort shown to resolve this chronic reception problem. I request that the infrastructure in Istanbul Sultanbeyli Ahmet Yesevi neighborhood be urgently examined, that the necessary technical work and improvements be carried out, and that a detailed information and feedback be provided regarding the result of these studies. I also expect my and other users’ victimization in this region to be taken seriously and resolved as soon as possible.
