Transferz Airport Transfer Scam Complaint
On January 25, 2026, I booked an airport transfer with Transferz from Cape Town International Airport to Pepperclub Hotel under the name Satanansingh Jud***, reservation number ZVLGDQ-1, and paid $27.63 for the service.
Before landing, we received a message from someone claiming to be the driver. However, after we landed, this person did not answer any calls, no vehicle arrived, and the transfer service we paid for was never provided. No alternative transportation was arranged.
To date, we have not been able to reach Transferz through any communication channel, and no refund has been issued for this failed transfer.
In addition, we experienced the same issue with another booking made through Transferz on January 28, 2026, from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport to Sandton Sun and Towers, under booking reference LW5LL5-1, for which we paid $38.78. This transfer was also not provided.
Since both services were paid for but never delivered, I am requesting a full refund of $27.63 for the Cape Town transfer and $38.78 for the Johannesburg transfer. I also request a clear explanation of what went wrong with these bookings.
