Yandex Go Ride Cost More Than Listed — Very Disappointing

On November 29, 2025, at around 21:43 in Ankara Sincan, I took a taxi ride via Yandex Go and encountered a major discrepancy between the fare shown in the app and the amount the driver charged me. Although the app displayed a fare of $18, the driver took $26 from me, and I had no choice but to pay in cash.

I reported the issue through Yandex Go afterward and opened a complaint record, but I was told that they could not issue a refund to my IBAN. I have been left in a difficult situation due to both the difference between the displayed fare and the amount collected, as well as the lack of assistance with the refund process.

I request that Yandex Go refund the $8 overcharged during this trip and conduct the necessary review to ensure that similar issues do not occur again.
