On November 27, 2025, between 12:35 and 13:00, I ordered a taxi through the Yandex Go app to travel from Buca, İzmir to the bus terminal. Before the ride, the app showed an estimated fare of $11, but after the ride, $19 was withdrawn from my bank account. I understand that a small fare variation can occur, but I absolutely cannot accept being charged nearly double the amount. Had I seen such a high fare beforehand, I would never have taken the ride.
As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted customer service through the app three times on the same day. Each time, I was told the situation was being reviewed and that I would be informed, yet I have received no response whatsoever. No explanation has been provided for the price difference, nor have I been updated on the status of the review.
I cannot find the reservation number for the ride in the app, but I do have screenshots of the chat and my bank statement. I request that Yandex Go refund the excess amount charged, which was far higher than the estimated fare shown in the app.
