Toshiba Refuses to Cover LNB Input Repair on My TV Under Warranty
I bought a Toshiba television and needed service, so I contacted their support. To my surprise, Vestel’s service team arrived instead. They inspected the TV and claimed that the LNB input was broken, saying it wasn’t covered under warranty. They then asked me to pay ₺4750 for the repair. I don’t understand how a person could possibly break a 1 cm-long iron piece by regular use. This situation makes me question the quality of the product I purchased. Instead of standing behind their product, they are trying to charge me for what seems to be a manufacturing issue. I feel deceived and demand a proper resolution. I expect Toshiba to take responsibility for this defect and provide the necessary repair without any extra cost.
The company calls and says things like 'cover the material', I already wrote to CIMER. I will also write my complaint to the Toshiba overseas company.
