My Tommy Hilfiger Jacket Leaks Rainwater
I purchased a jacket from the Tommy Hilfiger store at Kentpark. On a particularly rainy day, the jacket got excessively wet. I hung it to dry in the laundry, only to find that once dry, the distribution of the filling material inside had completely changed. Some areas were clumped, while others were entirely empty. I explained the situation and left the jacket at the store for examination. The outcome of their investigation left me stunned - I was told, "the product is not waterproof," and no exchange was granted.
My complaint isn't about the lack of water resistance; it's about the inability to convey my issue and address the distress I've experienced. This is a winter item meant to be worn in rain and snow, yet its own inner filling allowing water in is unacceptable. They suggested picking up the product, but I won't, as one instance of getting wet in the rain rendered the jacket nonfunctional. Unfortunately, customer satisfaction seems to be overlooked after the purchase of a Tommy jacket. I share this experience in the hope that others won't face the same fate.
