Last week, I decided to rent a car from the Thrifty Car Rental branch in Las Vegas for a three-day period. However, when I returned the car, I realized that I was billed an additional 25% on my credit card, exceeding the expected amount. When I reached out to the branch to ask about this difference, they gave me a variety of explanations. I didn't opt for any extra services like insurance, and I returned the car in perfect condition. However, the branch did not offer a sufficient explanation for the excessive charges. Feeling disappointed by their lack of openness and responsibility, I decided to contact customer service, only to discover that they sided with the branch's position. I have made a firm decision to never rent from Thrifty Car Rental again. Although the cost may be higher when renting from Budget, I can rely on them to uphold the agreed-upon price.
