Temu Ignored My Claim for Missing Items In a Torn Package

My recent order from Temu arrived in a torn, dirty, and damaged package. Several items were missing. I documented everything with photos and contacted customer service. However, instead of resolving the issue, I received repeated copy-paste responses. Despite my explanations and the evidence I submitted, my refund request was denied with the excuse that “label information is not clear.” I’m being told I should have kept a filthy, ripped plastic bag for days. I had already retrieved it from the trash just to take the photos. What more can a customer possibly do? Temu claims the items were shipped, but when a company sells online — especially one involved in international shipping — it is their responsibility to ensure that the packaging materials are durable and resistant to damage or tearing during transit. The fact that an item was shipped does not guarantee that it was delivered intact. If the packaging failed and caused the loss, this is not the customer’s fault. I did everything I could — and I’m still the one left empty-handed. What’s even more upsetting is how I’ve been ignored as a customer. My loss and my experience are being completely dismissed. It’s not just about the products — it’s about the lack of respect. My request is clear: either resend the missing items or provide at least a partial refund. Having to fight for something this basic is already exhausting. If this issue isn’t resolved, I will file a formal complaint with Turkish authorities including CİMER (Presidency Communication Center) and the Consumer Rights Directorate. I will also share my experience publicly to warn others. Turkey already imposes a 60% tax on imports from China — a clear discouragement. Incidents like this will only accelerate the complete abandonment of platforms like Temu by Turkish consumers. If Temu has any official representative, team, or authority in Turkey, now is the time to step in. I am publicly stating once again: I want this issue resolved and my loss fairly compensated.
