Telegram permanently limited my account for spam, how can I remove the restriction?

If your Telegram account is permanently limited for spam, it usually means the platform detected unwanted or unsolicited messaging and other users reported you.

Telegram’s system may lift temporary limits automatically after a few days, but permanent restrictions are harder to remove without appeal.

The first step is to open the official @SpamBot in Telegram, start a chat, and select the option to appeal if you believe the restriction is a mistake; follow the bot’s instructions to request a review.

If that doesn’t work, go to Settings → Help → Ask a Question in the app explaining clearly why your account shouldn’t be limited, including your username and number.
