Telegram Phone Number Banned: “This Phone Number Is Banned” Error

My phone number +91 9151582*** has been banned on Telegram, and I am unable to log in. When I enter my number and try to sign in, an error window appears saying “Sorry. This phone number is banned.” I do not know when or why this ban was applied to my number. I have not received any prior clear explanation, and I am not aware of any violation that would justify such a restriction. I kindly request that my phone number be unbanned so that I can use Telegram again, or that I be given a clear and detailed explanation of the reason for this ban if it cannot be removed.
