SunExpress Damaged My Luggage and Made Reporting Process Unnecessarily Complicated

On August 26, I flew from Stuttgart to Ankara on SunExpress flight XQ0791, and upon receiving my luggage, I noticed one of the wheels was broken. I reported the issue to the designated office at the airport, and they directed me to fill out an online form. However, while trying to complete the form, I was asked for absurd details like the luggage receipt, purchase date, and brand—information most people don’t have readily available, especially after buying a suitcase for international travel.
It’s frustrating that while airlines charge €10 for just 1 kg of excess baggage, they make it incredibly difficult for customers when it comes to their own mistakes. I expect SunExpress to take responsibility and resolve this issue.
