SunExpress Damaged My Luggage Wheel Beyond Repair


On January 5, 2025, during my SunExpress flight XQ-661 from Berlin to Antalya, I discovered that one wheel of my suitcase had completely broken off, causing damage to the surrounding area as well. I immediately went to the SunExpress Lost and Found Office to report the damage and request a formal report. However, I was told the damage was minor and that I could simply take photos and submit them through a provided link instead.
It is clear from the photos that the damage is extensive, as confirmed by a luggage repair specialist who stated that the suitcase cannot be repaired. Despite this, SunExpress replied that the suitcase could be repaired and requested an invoice for the repair. This response is completely unacceptable.
I demand immediate compensation for my damaged luggage, either by providing a replacement of equal value or a monetary reimbursement. SunExpress must resolve this issue promptly and take responsibility for the damage caused.
My issue has been resolved. However, please coordinate with the lost and found office staff on matters such as reports, etc.
