SunExpress Ticket Not Issued After Payment for Ercan-İzmir Flight


Today, I purchased a ticket from SunExpress for the İzmir-Amsterdam flight on December 18, 2024, at 10:10 AM. The payment was successfully deducted from my account, but I did not receive a confirmation email or reservation number. When I called customer service, I was told that the booking did not show up in their system. They informed me that the deducted amount would be refunded to my card within three business days.
It’s frustrating and disappointing that despite booking directly through SunExpress’s website to avoid third-party risks, I still faced this issue. If I hadn’t called to check, I might have shown up at the airport assuming I had a ticket, only to be met with disappointment. I’ve trusted SunExpress for years, but this experience has shaken my confidence. I urge them to resolve this promptly and ensure it doesn’t happen to other customers.
