SunExpress Airlines Priced My Broken 3000 TL Suitcase at 750 TL
On August 14, 2023, we were shocked to find our large Benetton suitcase with a gaping hole and dragged on the ground after our SunExpress flight XQ7631 from Adana to Antalya. To begin the process, we immediately filed a report with the airport authorities. They assured us that we would be reimbursed based on the current market value of the damaged item and instructed us to upload the required documents into their system. As the process progressed, we received an email informing us that we would be compensated 750 TL for a suitcase with comparable models costing around 3000 TL. Our case numbers are Sun-08750773 and Güneş-08750773, and we anticipate a resolution in which we will be reimbursed for the current cost of the luggage. Dealing with damaged luggage after a flight has been extremely frustrating.
