Forgotten Luggage Complaint - Sunexpress Airlines

On 03.08.2024, after the plane landed from Elazığ Airport to Dusseldorf International Airport at 15.40 Turkey time, we were informed that our luggage was not loaded. At Dusseldorf airport, we were given A4 paper, our personal information was taken and we were told that the baggage would arrive 2 days later. We were never informed about the baggage status or any other information. The form we filled out was not official. We were only told that 156 others shared the same fate. When we called Sunexpress airline general customer services, they said that they were not aware of such a problem and that they were not informed about any information. When we called the general number of Elazığ airport, the gentleman who answered the phone first stated that the baggage was not taken on the plane due to the heat, then for operational reasons. He stated that the baggage was immediately sent to the next plane, that it would first be transferred to Istanbul, then, with the correction of the lady speaking next to him, it was transferred to Izmir and that it could be picked up from the Dusseldorf checkpoint the next day. We demand the necessary written defenses from the relevant airline and airport personnel. We demand that the responsible parties compensate for the damage caused by the failure of important documents in the baggage to arrive on time.
