SunExpress Flight from Elazığ to Düsseldorf: My Baggage Not Loaded

On August 3, 2024, during my flight from Elazığ Airport to Düsseldorf International Airport scheduled for 15:40 Turkey time, we were informed after landing that our baggage had not been loaded onto the plane. At Düsseldorf Airport, we were given an A4 paper and our personal information was taken, with the information that our baggage would arrive two days later. However, no updates or information regarding the baggage situation were shared with us.
The form we filled out was not official. We were simply told that 156 other people shared the same fate as us. When we called SunExpress customer service, they claimed they were unaware of any such problem and that no information had been provided to them. When we contacted the general number for Elazığ Airport, the gentleman who answered first stated that the baggage was not taken off the plane due to the heat, and then he mentioned operational reasons for not taking it off.
He informed us that the baggage would be sent on the next flight, first to Istanbul as a transfer, but later corrected by a lady speaking next to him, stating it would go via Izmir and could be picked up the next day from the Düsseldorf checkpoint. We are filing a complaint against the relevant airline and airport staff.
