Storytel Charged Me After I Canceled on the Same Day and Still Ignored My Refund Request

I downloaded the Storytel app on April 23, 2025, and signed up for a subscription the same day. However, after browsing the content, I found it wasn’t what I was looking for and canceled my membership that very same day. Despite this, Storytel still charged my card, and I immediately requested a refund.

I reached out through the “Contact Us” section of the app and sent an email to explain the situation. It’s been days and I have received no response at all. I canceled on time, didn’t use the service beyond a few hours, and I believe charging me is completely unjustified.

Storytel, this is not how you should treat new users. I am requesting a full refund for the charge, and I expect my complaint to be acknowledged immediately. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will not hesitate to pursue legal action to defend my rights as a consumer.
