I signed up for Storytel, the online audiobook and reading app, with a 1-month subscription to try it out. I didn’t like the service and decided not to continue. I’ve been using Storytel off and on for a while, but recently I checked my credit card transactions and noticed that they’ve been charging me ₺200 every single month without my approval.

I never authorized these ongoing payments, and I never renewed my subscription. There was no clear reminder, warning, or confirmation request. This kind of behavior—charging users silently without their consent—is completely unacceptable and unethical.

Storytel, you’ve been taking my money for months, and I demand a full refund of all unauthorized charges. Stop draining users’ accounts without clear consent. This isn’t a subscription service anymore—this is theft masked as a renewal. You need to fix this immediately and ensure your billing practices are honest and transparent.
