I Face Flight Cancellation Notification Failure And Losses With Southwind Airlines
Southwind Airlines failed to notify me in advance about the cancellation of my flight. I only found out at the airport that my ticketed flight had been canceled, as no email or official communication was ever sent to me. When I spoke with other passengers—around 15 people I was able to reach—it turned out that none of them had been informed either. We were all left stranded and uninformed.
The rescheduled departure was shown as 23:55 today, but this change caused me direct financial loss. I had already booked a hotel in Antalya for tonight, which is now completely wasted because of the cancellation. The money I paid for the reservation is lost, and my entire travel plan has been disrupted.
It is unacceptable for an airline to cancel a flight and not notify passengers through proper channels such as email or SMS. I urgently demand a refund for both my unused ticket and the financial losses I incurred due to this last-minute cancellation. Southwind Airlines must take responsibility for this negligence and ensure such failures do not happen to other passengers.
