We were a group of about 150-200 people from various tours, scheduled to fly on July 20, 2024, at 7:00 AM. Despite knowing about the flight delay as early as 1:00 AM, no information was communicated to us until much later. From 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM, we were kept at the airport with constant excuses like 'the bus will arrive in half an hour' and 'the hotel is arranged,' only to be left waiting. When the situation escalated, we were finally taken to a hotel, but there were no available rooms, and we had to wait until 11:00 AM for rooms to be vacated.
Our flight, initially rescheduled for 8:00 PM, was further delayed to 10:15 PM. We left the hotel at 8:00 PM, returned to Istanbul Airport, and continued waiting with no representative to address our concerns. At 11:15 PM, our flight was canceled yet again and rescheduled for 1:00 AM. How is this acceptable service? We lost two entire days due to Tailwind Airlines, with no explanations or accountability from the airline. We were left completely stranded and neglected. This level of disregard for passengers is unacceptable, and we demand that Tailwind Airlines address this significant inconvenience. We will be pursuing legal action through the appropriate channels to ensure our complaints are heard and resolved.
