Request For Refund From SmallPDF

I am writing regarding an automatic charge to my Smallpdf subscription that I did not intend to continue and for which I did not receive any prior notice. On March 6, 2026, at around 1:03 AM (Philippines time), I was charged 718.50 PHP (approximately 12 USD) via debit card through the Smallpdf website for a subscription that started as a free trial. I was expecting to be informed before any payment was taken, and I consider it very unfair to be charged without a clear prior notification, especially as a customer on a trial period. As soon as I saw the charge, I immediately cancelled the subscription. After that, I contacted Smallpdf customer support to explain that I did not intend to continue the service and that I had not received any prior notice before being billed. However, instead of addressing my specific concern and the unexpected charge, I was only sent a tutorial on how to cancel the subscription, which I had already done. Given that this charge occurred just today and that I cancelled the subscription immediately after noticing it, I kindly request a full refund of the 718.50 PHP / 12 USD that was taken from my account, and confirmation that my subscription has been fully cancelled so that I will not be charged again in the future.
