On December 22, 2025, I purchased the Skechers Stamina V2 – Best Advantage 237234 BKW model shoes from the Skechers store at Maltepe Piazza in Istanbul for $111. Even though I wore the shoes only 3–4 times, noticeable wear and pilling developed on the inner heel lining in a short period of time, and it has started to cause serious discomfort while wearing them. I do not believe a shoe that deteriorates this quickly with such minimal use is durable under normal conditions.
I sent the product in for inspection through the store. Later, I visited the store to receive the result and was given the inspection report/form. The report stated that the issue was not manufacturing-related, and my claim was denied. However, I cannot accept that deformation occurring in such a short time and with very limited use is being classified as user error.
For this reason, I am requesting a refund or, alternatively, an exchange for another product at the same price. I ask that my complaint be reconsidered and that a customer-focused solution be provided.
