Skechers Shoes Stained My Son’s Feet After Rain and Refused Any Responsibility
The foam parts of the summer shoes I bought for my 10-year-old son from the Skechers store turned completely black due to the dye running off the areas that were supposed to look like leather. When I sent the product in for inspection, they gave me a negative response (this is the second time this has happened, as I received a similar response for a different pair of shoes), claiming that the defect wasn’t their fault. According to them, the shoes are not waterproof, which is why the dye ran. By the way, we didn’t wash the shoes or deliberately expose them to water. At most, they might have been in contact with light rain for 2-3 minutes during the summer. That’s it. It shows they use such poor-quality materials that even two drops of water can cause the dye to run. Even if I had bought non-branded shoes from the market, this wouldn’t have happened. And when I buy shoes, I usually buy for the whole family. From now on, I won’t even step foot into their store. I’ll be telling everyone I know about this, especially those considering buying Skechers, and I’ll do everything I can discourage them from buying the brand. The last time I sent in a pair of shoes, the foam parts were torn and punctured after only 3-4 months of use, and again they claimed there was no defect in the product. It may not matter much to them, but as I said, Skechers is finished for me, my family, and as much as possible, my friends and acquaintances.
