I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes for my mother through the app about a year ago. Since it was winter when I bought them, she only started wearing them in the spring, skipped them during the summer, and used them for a total of about four months, primarily for walking. Despite this light use, the shoes are completely falling apart—the soles are disintegrating, and the entire structure is in ruins.
When I contacted Skechers and shared photos of the damage, they dismissed the issue as "user error." How can a 60-year-old woman possibly wear out a pair of shoes in just four months? The shoes were clearly defective, yet Skechers refused to stand by their product. This is extremely disappointing for a brand that markets itself as high-quality.
