On August 22, 2024, I purchased a pair of Skechers sandals with the code 140431 from the Skechers store in Bodrum Midtown. I didn’t use the product at all during the winter, and I started wearing it in April 2025. Even though I only used the sandals indoors, after just a few months the white part of the footbed turned green. I washed the product, but the discoloration did not go away. On October 12, 2025, I returned the product to the store where I bought it for inspection. However, customer service informed me digitally that the product was not defective and that my request had been rejected.
A friend of mine who bought the same pair of sandals experienced the same problem — her pair turned black after a short time. Since these are summer sandals, we wore them barefoot, and both of us had similar issues. I didn’t expect such a problem or such a dismissive response from a brand like Skechers.
I paid approximately $48 USD for this product, and I request that this issue be resolved by either exchanging the product or issuing a full refund.
