I purchased a pair of Skechers boots on September 22, 2024, from the Marlin Spor store located in StarCity Mall, Yeni Bosna, Istanbul. Not long after wearing them, noticeable cracks began to appear on the surface of the boots.
On March 22, 2025, I returned to the store to request a refund or exchange due to the premature damage. However, my request was denied. I then contacted Skechers customer service, hoping for a fair resolution, but they dismissed the issue, claiming it was a “user error.”
How can cracks that clearly formed from normal walking be considered user-related? This is not acceptable. I bought Skechers believing in the brand’s quality, and now I’m left with a defective product and no support.
I’m asking Skechers to take responsibility and offer a proper resolution—either a replacement or a refund. Customers should not be blamed for clear product defects.
