I bought a pair of Skechers Hillcrest sneakers expecting long-term comfort and durability. Unfortunately, the shoes didn’t even last six months. The sole completely collapsed, becoming hard and uncomfortable to walk on. Even worse, a visible one-centimeter hole appeared on the side fabric of the shoe. Given that the product was still under warranty, I took the shoes to the store. They assured me that they would send the pair to Skechers for inspection.
I waited for about a month, only to be told that both exchange and refund were denied, and I received the shoes back without any fix. This is deeply disappointing. How can a reputable brand like Skechers have a midsole collapse in such a short time, and yet claim this is not covered under warranty?
These shoes were not abused—just worn for daily use. A shoe priced at this level should not fail so quickly. I didn’t expect to be dismissed without explanation. I sincerely hope Skechers takes accountability for this and provides a resolution. This is not just a product failure—it’s a customer trust issue.
