On September 24, 2024, I purchased the Skechers GO Walk Arch Fit 2.0 Idyllic 2 model for ₺4,599 from the Istanbul Cevahir Skechers store. Within just one month of use, the inner part of the right shoe became severely torn and deformed, despite wearing them loosely with untied laces for comfort.
I returned the shoes to the store for inspection on October 31, 2024, but received a negative response a week later. Skechers claimed it was not a manufacturing defect but a user issue. I objected to this decision and requested a second review. How can a premium product from a brand like Skechers deteriorate so quickly without any misuse? I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursue all my rights until this is resolved. Skechers, I expect you to stand by your product and address this issue promptly.
