My Skechers Shoes Tore Within a Year but Warranty Was Denied as User Error

I purchased a pair of Skechers athletic shoes, and before the warranty period even ended, I noticed tearing and unraveling in multiple areas. I immediately submitted a warranty inspection request, expecting the brand to stand behind its product.

However, the response I received from Skechers stated that the issue was not manufacturing-related and instead blamed it on user error. As a result, no repair, replacement, or support was provided.

I find this explanation completely unacceptable. It’s unreasonable for a shoe that costs this much to start falling apart within less than a year—especially under normal, everyday use. If this isn’t considered a defect, then what is?

I am formally requesting that the product be re-evaluated by a different team. If this issue isn’t resolved appropriately, I will escalate my case to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
