Skechers Customer Service Ignores Early Wear and Tears in Shoes

Hi there! About five months back, I made a purchase of a pair of shoes from the Skechers store located in Mecidiyeköy Cevahir Mall. Even though I don't do any strenuous activities or participate in sports, my shoes inexplicably developed tears on the inside and pop on the outside, even though I haven't come into contact with any sharp objects. On January 15, 2024, I went to the Forum Istanbul Mall store to discuss the problem. However, they claimed that the tears and pops on the shoes were caused by consumer error. Even though I invested a significant amount of money in a pair of shoes that I really enjoyed, and only wore for a short period of time, I was held responsible for the flaws. Unfortunately, they declined my request for an exchange or refund, stating that it was not a valid option. The employees are not very helpful, according to the inspection board, which believes that the lack of assistance is due to consumer error. Furthermore, the employees seem to be distancing themselves from the issue. Adding insult to injury, the store staff casually suggested filing a complaint through e-government or consumer court, as if it were a mere joke. That's really unfortunate. They show a lack of concern, and detachment, and quickly attribute it to consumer error without providing any help. I deeply regret my decision to purchase shoes from this particular brand.
