I bought a pair of Skechers Prismatrons kids’ shoes, and within just one month, the front sections started peeling and separating from the sole. I immediately submitted them for inspection, expecting the brand to stand behind its product. Instead, I received a generic response stating that no manufacturer defect was found, and my claim was denied.
We have never experienced such poor durability with any other brand—not even with cheaper alternatives. We paid nearly double the price compared to other children's shoes, trusting Skechers for its quality. But what we received is completely unacceptable.
If a pair of kids’ shoes starts falling apart after only a month of light use, I can’t even imagine the condition they’d be in after a year. Clearly, the material and workmanship are not what Skechers claims them to be.
This will be our first and last purchase from the brand. If you market yourself as a premium brand, then you must stand behind your products—especially when sold at such a high price point.
Skechers, I’m calling on you to take responsibility. Either replace the defective product or issue a refund. Parents should be able to trust that their children’s footwear is safe, durable, and fairly supported when issues arise.
