I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes for my son, trusting the brand's reputation, but was left extremely disappointed. Despite only being worn indoors at his preschool—and only for a few hours per day—the shoes completely fell apart in just 8 months. No rough outdoor play, no washing, no misuse. Yet they look like they’ve been through years of heavy wear.
What’s even more frustrating is that my husband, son, and I have all used Skechers shoes extensively outdoors for years without any issues. But this one, worn in a clean and controlled environment, deteriorated rapidly. I sent the pair in for a quality inspection expecting a reasonable response, only to be told that “no defect was found.” That verdict is simply not acceptable.
I also provided general and sole photos clearly showing that the shoe isn’t even visibly worn—just poorly made. My fellow parents were also shocked by how fast the shoe broke down. It’s beyond comprehension that a shoe used so lightly could end up in this state, especially from a globally known brand.
I am demanding an appropriate solution immediately. I will not accept this kind of negligence. If necessary, I will pursue all my legal rights and escalate the issue to protect other consumers from wasting their hard-earned ₺ on what clearly seems to be a defective product.
