I've encountered a distressing issue with the Siemens Induction Cooktop (EU611BEB1E), purchased on 02/01/2024. Just one month into use, the surface has developed deep scratches, despite meticulous cleaning with microfiber cloths and dedicated ceramic cooktop cleaners. My spouse, who is exceptionally careful, ensures the appliance remains spotless. Siemens needs to address this matter promptly and provide a solution without causing inconvenience to consumers. Some responses to similar complaints seem to dismiss the concerns as user errors, but given the minimal surface heating of induction cooktops, scratching should be a rare occurrence. Even basic vehicle windshields endure exposure to various cleaning agents and weather conditions without scratches. Siemens, known for its durable Schott Ceran glass, should uphold its reputation for resilience. As loyal Siemens customers, we hope for a swift resolution to maintain our trust in the Siemens family.

''Siemens is regret'' The General Manager of Siemens called today and, after a week of waiting, informed me that the issue was due to 'User Error.' I have come to understand this well: Siemens is always right when it comes to glass scratches because, according to them, glass doesn't get scratched while just sitting there. Despite being exposed to numerous chemicals, various cleaning agents, and different wiping cloths, glass used in simple technology for vehicles and homes doesn't get scratched. However, the surface of the specially developed, extra-hardened Schott Ceran glass by Siemens, after extensive R&D, gets scratched for some unknown reason. And this is considered a user error. They say it could be sugar, salt, or the cooking tools and utensils used that caused the scratches. We never used sugar on the stove, and we are very meticulous about salt. I checked all the cooking tools and utensils one by one, and there is no deformation. I don't understand how this is a user error. For the stove I purchased on 30.12.2023 for 9,612.68 TL, the glass replacement fee, valid from today with a one-week period, is 9,240.00 TL. Siemens says they can help with the glass replacement for a fee of 7,000.00 TL, offering a discount of 2,240.00 TL. Do you also think Siemens is a regret?
