Samsung TVs Break Soon After 2-Year Warranty

October 13, 2023 10:18 PM45

About 15-20 days after my purchase on June 25, 2021, of the Samsung QE50Q60TAUXTK 50" television, dead pixels started to appear on the screen in the form of black lines in July 2023. We contacted customer service and were informed that, since the warranty had expired, we would have to pay for any repairs ourselves. Since the cost was almost half the price of a new television, we decided to continue using it this way. However, the lines on the screen started to increase as time passed. Today, on October 13, 2023, the television screen suddenly went completely black and hasn't turned on again. We never even considered the possibility that a television purchased just 2 years ago, hung on the wall and used with utmost care, could be completely broken. To our shock, we started searching for solutions online and found that Samsung televisions seem to be breaking down right after the 2-year mark. This is beyond belief! It seems like Samsung is doing this intentionally and is still able to sell televisions without losing their reputation! I demand that my grievance be addressed urgently!

Samsung QE50Q60T QLED TV Unusable Display After Limited Use

"The service performed a fault diagnosis, and the result was disappointing: the panel price is 22,000 TL. It is currently at the solution center; I hope the Samsung company stands by its product and replaces the panel. They claimed a 10-year screen warranty for the Samsung QLED TV, but what difference does that make for screen burn-in? If you are so confident in your screen, should we intentionally burn it? I don't understand; we will wait and see."
