Samsung 50Q60T TV Chronic Malfunction
Dear Samsung Customer Service, I am writing to report a recurring issue with my Samsung TV, model 50Q60T. On January 21, 2024, I experienced a panel failure for the first time. The authorized Samsung service center replaced the panel free of charge and returned the TV in working condition. However, after approximately 1.5 years, on October 28, 2025, the same panel issue has occurred again. Currently, the TV does not turn on properly — it briefly lights up, then turns off before the screen appears. This cycle repeats continuously, and the screen remains completely black. I originally purchased the TV in February 2021. Although the standard warranty period has expired, I am unsure whether the previously replaced panel is still covered under any service warranty. I have not yet contacted Samsung customer support or an authorized service center regarding this recent issue. This is the first time I have encountered such a persistent issue with a Samsung product. The fact that the newly installed panel has also failed in a relatively short time suggests a possible chronic defect with this model’s panel. I kindly request a free repair or product replacement to resolve this matter and to prevent further inconvenience. Thank you for your attention and assistance.
The reason I chose Samsung was its quality, and now I also distinguish it from other brands because of its after-sales services. They responded with a tradesman mentality. Even though my warranty had expired, my panel malfunction was fixed twice and I was not charged. +The customer representative lady personally took care of the situation and called each time to inform me that they were following up on the process. I especially appreciate this as well. Unlike the usual customer representative cases, it’s great that she was the only one following up on the issue. Note: +I bought 5 pieces of Samsung white goods this week, got carried away and bought for the other house too 😁 I hope we won’t be let down and your after-sales support continues...
