IPX8-Certified Galaxy S24 Shows Moisture Alert for 4 Days

On July 11, 2025, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S24 through the Hepsiburada app, sold directly by Hepsiburada. I had been using the device with satisfaction, but for the past four days, it has been displaying a “foreign object or moisture detected” warning and has become impossible to charge. I experienced significant inconvenience during my 24+ hour Ghana–Turkey journey because of this issue.

I am writing this complaint from Accra Airport using a friend’s spare phone.

Experiencing such a problem with an IPX8-certified device—right at the moment I was about to order the same phone for my daughter—may have saved me from an even bigger problem. I canceled that order. Sadly, giving Samsung another chance after years only resulted in disappointment.

We bought this device influenced by the fact that my spouse has been using a Samsung Galaxy A30 for six years without any issues, but unfortunately, my experience has turned into a complete frustration.
