While scrolling through videos on the Yandex Browser app, I came across +18 content. Even though the app asks, “Are you 18 years old?” and I indicated that I am underage, it still continued to show highly inappropriate and disturbing content.
This happened yesterday, and because I was uncomfortable with what I saw, I deleted the app from my phone entirely. It is extremely unsafe and worrying that underage users can access +18 videos this easily.
I request that Yandex remove such +18 content from within Yandex Browser and implement a much stricter content filtering and monitoring system to protect younger users.
